Fouad Eid

Mr. Fouad Eid is the Regional Vice President for ChampionX Artificial Lift (ChampionX Middle East LLC). He is responsible for the Middle East, Africa, and Europe geographical markets.

He is also an elected member of the board and vice president of the AmCham Oman.

Mr. Fouad Eid graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston in 1995.
In June 1995, he joined Schlumberger Oilfield Services and worked in the United States, Nigeria, South Africa, Guatemala and Mexico as a field engineer.

In March 2001, he was appointed as Operations Manager for Schlumberger wireline operations in Mexico. This entailed managing offshore Mexico’s marine region operations including Guatemala and Cuba.

In September 2002 he became the Schlumberger Formation Evaluation Sales and Marketing Manager based in Moscow, Russia. This included Sales and Marketing management for both the Wireline and Drilling and Measurements segments.
In September 2004 he was appointed Schlumberger Recruiting and Training Manager for the Gulf region and was responsible for recruiting and developing GCC nationals into Schlumberger’s various segments.

In October 2006, he became the Schlumberger Artificial Lift Manager responsible for production operations with responsibilities in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and the Sultanate of Oman.

In July 2010, Mr. Fouad Eid joined ChampionX Artificial Lift and became the Director of Sales for the GCC region, North Africa, and Turkey.

He has attended various technical development and management courses at both Schlumberger and ChampionX.

He is a longtime member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and sits on planning and technical committees for SPE’s Artificial Lift conferences. Fouad Eid also sits on planning and technical committees and is a founding member of the Middle East Artificial Lift Forum.
