Making PPPs Work: Regional Models, Local Opportunities

-

AmCham Oman is pleased to invite you to a high-level educational briefing exploring Public–Private Partnerships (PPPs) and their role in delivering sustainable infrastructure and public services in Oman.

While Oman continues to draw on successful regional PPP models, the Sultanate has also delivered proven PPP successes locally, including a landmark project in the health sector. This session will examine both regional best practice and Oman’s own experience, offering practical insights into what makes PPPs work in a local context.

Aligned with Oman Vision 2040, the discussion will bring together legal, technical, and strategic perspectives from across the public and private sectors. Importantly, the session will include insights from a senior practitioner who was directly involved in setting up this successful healthcare PPP, sharing first-hand lessons learned from the development and implementation process.

The session will begin with a 15-minute expert presentation by AMJ Law Firm, followed by a 45-minute panel discussion featuring PPP specialists and local stakeholders, offering a balanced exchange of regional and Oman-specific perspectives. The session will conclude with an interactive Q&A.
